STRONGER FOR THE LONG HAUL

You don't need another six-week transformation. You definitely don't need another coach telling you that your body is a problem to be fixed.

Strong Foundations is my free, no BS guide full of evidence-based advice about how to strength train sensibly and sustainably.

Meet YOUR COACH

HI, I'M ELIZABETH

MUM. COACH. LIFTER.

I'm the founder of This Woman Lifts, a personal trainer, mum of three and the author of Training For Your Old Lady Body.

I spent years exercising because I wanted to make my body smaller. Now I train because I want my life to be full and my body to be strong, capable and resilient.

That's the idea behind everything I do here.

I want women to stop treating exercise as something we do to burn calories, earn food or fix bits of ourselves we don't like - and start seeing strength as an investment in the bodies we're going to be living in for the rest of our lives.

That doesn't require living in the gym, a complicated programme, never missing a session, always feeling sore, or punishing yourself.

Here's to playing the long game

Elizabeth xx

TRAINING FOR YOUR OLD LADY BODY - I WROTE THE BOOK(S)

Most fitness advice is obsessed with bikini bodies and summer arms.

I'm much more interested in the body you're going to need when you're 70, 80 and beyond.

That's why I wrote these books: a call to (super strong) arms for building the muscle, strength, power, mobility, bone health, and fitness that will help you keep doing the things you love for as long as possible.
